Why...
Promotional Marketing
Using your logo across everything from your website and to logo apparel helps present a unified front. Potential customers aren’t left confused or unsure of what your logo and business brand looks like. They’ll also associate your brand with that logo, whether it’s from a delivery person wearing a logo hat to a customer they see in a shopping plaza carrying a promotional bag displaying your logo.
A Little About Me
From a humble start 1955 in the Wairarapa to parents enjoying the farming lifestyle, with 3 siblings including a twin.. , we moved to the big smoke in 1963, the day JFK was assassinated.
Looking around we found a house Dad could afford with 3 mortgages in Greenhithe, back then, home to 120 people and full of orchards.
I was a foundation pupil at Glenfield College, involved in as many sports as possible to get out of class.
From the First 15 i was selected in the Auckland U18 secondary schools team, also during my past linked with Northcote Rugby Club via my older brother.
I have been a proud member of NBRUSC since then..
Summers was Tennis for me, Mum put her time and effort in Greenhithe Tennis Club, she was rewarded with a Life membership for her effort.
I reached a National jnr u19 ranking of 12 in singles and 6 in doubles.
I had 3 scholarship offers from US college programs, which I was unable to accept because there was only partial assistance back then.
Rugby was my passion and before I left for my travels, I achieved Auckland U21, U23 and Auckland B as well as standing by 3 times for Auckland in 1978.
Later that year I left with a couple of mates to play for the New York rugby club, many stories and adventures, a high point in rugby, being selected to play for the US eagles side in 1980.
Returning to NZ in 1985, I worked with a rugby club stalwart helping set up an importing company, supplying Mens apparel to the independent retailers around NZ.
I also retained my association with Northcote Rugby, making the North Harbour B,s, and Browns Bay Tennis Club, who invited me on my return to play Chelsea Cup for them and from where I have represented NZ in Masters teams on many occasions.
After 9 years in the industry, the last 5 as sales Manager, I moved to set up Hedgehog Promotions Ltd in 1997.
With the trials and tribulations in this process, I am happy to say it has all been worth it, my contacts through my sport has helped build my business where I feel I have personal relationships with clients which have stood the test of time.
I love what I do, the satisfaction of processing work for happy clients is priceless.
